Additionally, we have partnered with Wildflower to provide fully covered lactation care with no co-pay for those with Cigna insurance.

If your plan is not a participant in The Lactation Network or Wildflower, I can still help you! I can provide you with a superbill, which gives all the details your insurance needs for potential reimbursement. You can then submit this for possible reimbursement. Just let me know if you’d like me to prepare one for you!

To check your benefits and understand your coverage:

Call the phone number on the back of your insurance card.

Ask if your plan includes benefits for lactation consults.

Inquire if you are allowed to see out-of-network providers for lactation consults.

If out-of-network consults are allowed, ask how much they will reimburse for your visit and if pre-authorization is needed.
